Virtual K-pop group K/DA is back with new music after a six-year break, but two familiar voices are missing from the lineup.

Riot Games released the group’s new single, Firestarter, on October 19, 2026, alongside an animated music video featuring characters from the popular video game League of Legends.

The comeback introduces Sophie Powers as the new voice of Evelynn, replacing Madison Beer. British singer Mimi Webb takes over the role of Kai’Sa, previously performed by Jaira Burns.

Meanwhile, Miyeon and Soyeon of K-pop group i-dle return as Ahri and Akali, maintaining their roles from earlier K/DA releases.

The group originally debuted in 2018 with Pop/Stars, combining real-world performers with animated video game characters. Their last major project was the 2020 EP All Out.

The new music video was created in partnership with Fortiche, the animation studio behind Netflix’s Arcane.

A new EP titled Firestarter is scheduled for October 21, continuing K/DA’s musical activities with its updated vocal lineup.
