Geordie Greep, former frontman of experimental rock band Black Midi, has canceled several U.S. tour dates following a sexual misconduct allegation that surfaced during his North American tour.

The allegation became public on October 8, 2026, when flyers distributed outside a Vancouver concert venue accused Greep of sexual assault. Addressing the audience that evening, Greep denied the rape accusation and said he had misread a social interaction at a late-night party, making an advance that was not reciprocated.

Greep expressed regret over the encounter and performed the Vancouver concert without his backing band. He also announced that proceeds from the performance would support an organization assisting survivors of violence.

The cancellations affected scheduled performances in Boise, Salt Lake City, Boulder, Denver, Omaha, and Des Moines.

Greep began his solo career following Black Midi’s hiatus and had been touring in support of his solo music. His European performances, scheduled to begin in November, remained on the calendar at the time of the cancellations.

The allegation remains disputed, with no legal finding established.
