Billboard has updated its ranking of the country artists with the most total weeks at No. 1 on Top Country Albums, putting the focus on the format’s most durable album runs. The list tracks acts that have spent at least 50 weeks in the top spot and shows how long-term success can build across very different eras of country music.

In the newest version of the ranking, Billboard places Morgan Wallen at the top after he moved past Garth Brooks in total weeks at No. 1. The list also includes Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts and the Chicks, bringing together streaming-era stars and artists who built their runs in earlier chart periods.

The ranking does more than spotlight one hot release. Some artists reached those totals with a single blockbuster album, while others got there through a steady run of chart-topping projects. That gives the list a broader view of staying power.

It also offers a clean look at how country music has changed over time while still rewarding the same result: albums that hold listeners week after week.
