During their recent appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, The Red Clay Strays revealed that they plan to release their eagerly awaited third studio album in summer 2026, with June as the tentative target date while they continue mixing the record. The Alabama-based band, known for blending Southern Rock and spiritually-themed country, has drawn praise for their unique and soulful sound, earning acclaim with their previous albums, 2022’s Moment of Truth and 2024’s Made By These Memories, the latter earning them the ACM Award for New Duo or Group of the Year. After Rogan broke the news about the album release, frontman Brandon Coleman said, “We’re shooting for summer of next year. We don’t really know yet. We’re still working on mixes. Hopefully June is gonna be the ticket.” The band is also planning on releasing the project’s lead single, “People Hatin’,” on Friday (October 3), giving fans a taste of what their new material will sound like while they wait for the album to arrive.
