Martin Mull, the veteran comedic actor best known for Clue, Arrested Development, Roseanne and Veep, has passed away at 80. His daughter confirmed on social media that he died at home on June 27th after a long illness. “My dad will be deeply missed by his wife and daughter, by his friends and coworkers, by fellow artists and comedians and musicians, and—the sign of a truly exceptional person—by many, many dogs,” she said. “I loved him tremendously.”

Mull gained prominence in the 1970s with roles in Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman and the satiric talk show Fernwood Tonight, before going on to play Colonel Mustard in the cult classic film adaptation of Clue. He later landed memorable roles in TV series like Roseanne, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Arrested Development. He earned an Emmy nomination in 2016 for a guest role on Veep. (Variety)
